SOMETHING ELSE TO PROTEST ABOUT
If you were wondering why you were in the classroom all by yourself, now you know why.
As I look out the window while making this page, I see snooooooowwww.  My ride called and will be picking me up a couple of hours late, and Heilbut resides on my desk.    I was planning on writing the page for the week after spring break, but I guess that willl have to wait.  I will send you an e-mail when I post it.  It is my standard procedure to show a film on the first day back anyhow, I just have to decide which one, "How Sweet it Was," or "Buffy the Vampire Slayer".  Or maybe something else.   Stay Tuned.  Do you know Cat Stevens?  You do a little bit, after watching the video above.  You know a bit more after listening to the video before.  He converted to Islam as a young man.  Here's his official website.  I've posted a YouTube playlist to my resources on Bridges.
p.s.  I'm cheating a little with this.  Cat Stevens (Yusef Islam) was a child of Greek Immigrants in London.  Read about his life journey on his website.  I guess it's o.k. to cheat a little it is Spring Break, after all.
