Manhy Union Songs Here on the Hobonickel Site
A Retrospective Look at the Week of April 1
I managed to catch "what's going around" and was out Thursday the week before.  So we did some catching up--playing videos and listening to Labor Songs associated with Joe Hill and other early labor organizers.  We continued with that on Thursday.  I had organized some songs from the Little Red  Song Book and also from Talking Union.

Next week, we'll start transitioning into music of the Woody Guthrie and Almanac Singers eras, and look at what effect the Great Depression and Drought had on Americans devastated by these disasters, and the musicians who sang out in their favor.
The picture above links to an interesting site called "Hobonickel"   You'll find lots of labor songs there.
